Jennifer Shields, LMSW

I have 20 years of experience spanning across clinical social work and therapy. I earned my master’s from Wayne State University and my bachelor’s from Madonna University. In my mission to provide assistance and guidance to those in need, I have addressed a wide range of issues in one-on-one and couple sessions, including managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, stress reduction, work-life balance, grief and loss, adjustment to illness and end of life challenges.

I provide relationship and marital therapy to help couples address problems such as substance use disorders, infidelity, and financial issues. Additionally, I’m trained in providing geriatric care and addressing emotional blockages surrounding the aging process for both the individual and their children and/or immediate family.

I continuously seek to expand my professional offerings because I understand life challenges all of us in different, sometimes complicated ways. I want to be sure I can help my clients navigate through these situations as best I can.
